Nour Ashour and her fiancé, Dr. Khaled Abu Samra, were married in May 2023.
The couple's house was bombed and leveled to the ground. Most of the invitees to the wedding were killed by the occupier. Ashour's wedding dress was burned and her wedding photos were destroyed. She says she now sees only gray in the rubble, white in the shrouds, and bright red everywhere. The joy that used to fill her heart has been replaced by sadness.
