Two people arrested for car theft; investigation suspected to be involved in approximately 80 cases in Kanto Metropolitan Police Department. The suspects arrested were Takao Odakura (43), an unemployed man living in Ibaraki Prefecture, and Gen Kamei (24), whose occupation is unknown.
In January of this year, he is suspected of stealing a van parked at a residence in Tochigi Prefecture and a passenger car parked at an apartment. It is believed that the two men took the car to a dismantling yard and sold it.
