Trouble with residents over solar power generation installation; Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry recommended to strengthen investigation. Of the 861 municipalities that responded, 355 municipalities, or approximately 40%, had some kind of trouble regarding installation.
Of these, 143 municipalities remained unresolved. There were concerns about the management of weeds that had grown in the surrounding area and concerns about landslides. In some municipalities where there were few problems, the local government conducted an on-site survey immediately after installation to confirm whether there were any problems.
