LR MP Philippe Juvin wants to include in the “Aging Well’ bill the right of elderly people to move into an establishment with their four-legged companion. Currently, nursing homes are free to accept or refuse pets but in the majority of cases, they are rarely accepted.
“We have to experiment with everything that can bring joy to residents, we just have to organize and anticipate well in advance what can be done,” says Dorothée Cheyrezy-Claude.
