Tomoe, mother of Takeshi Terakoshi, who lived in North Korea after going missing, dies at age 92. Tomoe went to North Korea to reunite with her girlfriend Takeshi.

In 2002, Takeshi briefly returned to Japan as a member of a delegation from a North Korean labor organization, setting foot on his homeland for the first time in 39 years. Mr. Tomoeda continued to visit North Korea regularly, and since 2009, had visited North Korea more than 50 times.
