Tokyo Women's Medical University employee who was not actually working was fraudulently paid approximately 20 million yen in salary. More than a dozen locations, including the university's headquarters and the home of President Kinuko Iwamoto, were searched on suspicion of special breach of trust.
According to people involved in the investigation, the former employee was hired as an employee of Shiseikai Second Hospital in 2015, but from May 2020 to March 2020, he did not work. Despite this, it is suspected that he received approximately20 million yen.
