Khaled El-Anany, former Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, to the position of Director-General of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) raises many questions about the fate of former Egyptian ministers. Former ministers have also been appointed as members of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank, as is currently the case with the appointment of Ashraf El-Araby.
