Tibetan police solved three cases of theft of cultural relics from temples and pagodas and recovered more than 80 cultural relics. The recovered cultural relics and the funds involved will be returned to the cultural relics protection unit and the victim respectively.
The stolen cultural relics include 3 Chinese national first-, second- and third-level cultural relic. The three cultural relic theft cases were all tried by the local court, and the defendant in the "Qaga Pagoda theft case" was sentenced to 10 years in prison.
