Document Protection and Restoration Department is responsible for the daily operations of the Art Archives in the East Hall of Shangtu. Zhang Pinfang has been working in the ancient book restoration industry for more than 30 years and is currently the leader of the 12 ancient book restorers pictured above.
Restorers each have their own expertise and perform their duties, and the ones handed over to Zhang are often the most difficult to deal with. The combination of silence and persistence behind the scenes with the activity and fun in front of the stage is the practice of creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture.
