The mayor of Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real) is the current president of the European Network of Wine Cities. Rosa Melchor is in charge of Acevin, the Spanish version of the previous one, and of the Spanish Wine Routes.

"The routes have enriched the discourse of the towns, of the tourist guides, and have brought travelers closer to the essence of each place," she says. "One of the next to enter will be the León Wine Route," she anticipates.
