The West Bank, with its cities and camps, suffers from repeated incursions by occupation forces and settlers. The Israeli restrictions resulted in damage to 29% of the facilities.

The occupation also prevented about 200,000 Palestinian workers from reaching their jobs. What exacerbates the crisis is that the Palestinian Authority, which is burdened with debts amounting to $6 billion, is unable to pay full salaries to citizens.
