The Reina Sofía Museum will reopen its rooms on "the harmful effects" of imperialism and decolonization. The project in this section is titled "Device 92: can history be rewinded?" The reopening of these rooms "is an absolute coincidence" with the current minister's announcement to "review" the collections of the national museums.
"Museums do not become feminist, nor with interest in racial or gender issues, from one day to the next or because there is a political agenda that is of interest," says the museum director.
