[HIGHLIGHTS] The Mount Meron area in the Galilee was subjected to missile strikes from Lebanon

Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that the Mount Meron area, in the Upper Galilee, was subjected to missile strikes from Lebanon. On top of the mountain is the Israeli army's Meron Air Base.

The base has been targeted 5 times since the start of the escalation along this front on October 8th. The reporter said that the area was hit by two missile attacks. For its part, the IsraeliArmy confirmed that 35 missiles were launched from Lebanon towards the same area. The Israeli army has confirmed that it has fired 35 missiles towards the area.
