The melting area of Qinghai Lake reaches one-tenth of the total lake area. The Qinghai Lake Basin is an important water body for maintaining the ecological security of the northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
The lake ice near Tiebuka Bay and Erhai Lake began to melt on a small scale on March 20. The Erhai Sea has basically melted. The southwest side of the Gahai Sea has melted significantly. In the next three days, there will be a relatively obvious precipitation weather process in most of Qinghai Province.
