Poster announcing Holy Week in Seville 2024 has gone viral. 9,935 people signed on the change.org platform to demand the censorship of the poster.
The Sevillian painter Salustiano García is the author of the painting. He says he didn't know what responsibility he was assuming when he said yes to the commission. The painter says that he felt like "the prodigal son" who finally came home to his city, Seville, after 27 years out of work.
