The Government recovers the cinema initiative for two euros for people over 65 years of age. 12 million euros will be allocated in direct subsidies to theaters, two million more than last year.
Movie attendance on Tuesdays grew twice as much as the rest of the days of the week, according to Culture Minister Ernest Urtasun. Almost one million "senior" viewers (924,724) benefited from the program in 2023, of the 9.5 million to which it was aimed.
