[HIGHLIGHTS] The direct train line from Nanning, China to Hanoi, Vietnam has become an important means of cross-border Spring Festival transportation.

During the 2024 Spring Festival travel period, China-Vietnam international through passenger vehicles will operate smoothly between Nanning, Guangxi and Hanoi, Vietnam. It is the first Spring Festival transportation since the passenger through train at the customs port resumed operation.

The restoration of this route provides a convenient way home for Chinese compatriots working and traveling in Vietnam. The International Road Transport Management Office of Youyiguan Port issued a total of 7 "International Motor Vehicle Transport Permits" for Chinese through trains and 17 signatures for through trains entering Vietnam.
