[HIGHLIGHTS] The captain of the expedition that crossed the Atlantic under sail as in the 17th century to make a documentary dies at the age of 75 on the high seas

Javier Babé, 75 years old, captain of 'La Peregrina', the sailboat whose crew, using navigation means from the 17th century, set themselves the challenge of crossing the Atlantic. The sailboat and its crew left the Canary Island of La Gomera on March 12 towards a small island in the southern Caribbean.

The plan was to capture the experience of the crew in a documentary, 'El Reso Astrolabio', in which Televisión de Galicia participated, and whose objective was to offer the audience a unique time travel experience.
