TEPCO announces 4th release of treated water from Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant to begin on the 28th. Approximately 7,800 tons are scheduled to be released over 17 days, and the total amount released this year is expected to be approximately 31,200 tons, as originally planned.

TEPCO says it will "work with the utmost sense of urgency," and that it will release the water "with the utmost urgency" The tritium concentration in the seawater sampled around the area is well below the standard for TEPCo to voluntarily decide to stop releases.
