The guitar was stolen by a poor resident of London's Notting Hill area and sold it to the owner of a local pub. The instrument was found in the attic of the house where the innkeeper's family lives.
It is reported that today the guitar is valued by the company at least £10 million. In November, The Beatles' latest song, Now and Then, featuring John Lennon's vocals, topped the UK music charts. The song was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney and is called Now And Then.
