Okinawa Prefecture is aiming to open the 32nd Army headquarters trench, which was built by the former Japanese army under Shuri Castle, to the public from next year onward. The prefecture held fieldwork on the 10th for teachers and others who play a major role in preserving the memory of the Battle of Okinawa, and 17 people, nearly twice the capacity, participated.

They listened to stories about the tense wartime situation, such as how tree branches were used as filters to diffuse smoke.
