In Hiratori Town, Hokkaido, one of the largest colonies of tin trees in Japan is open to the public. The "Suzuran Viewing Party" is open until the 7th of next month.

As the tin flowers begin to bloom, which heralds the arrival of early summer, "viewing parties" are held in which the colony isOpen to public. In the Mebu district, there are clusters of tin Trees growing for about 15 hectares, and depending on the town, it is the largest wild colony in the Japan.
