Suspect's sister in 4-year-old child poisoning death suspected to have been killed with the same substance; couple re-arrested. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the matter, suspecting that there was some trouble over heritage.
The suspects who were rearrested were Kenichi Hosoya (43), a company executive from Taito Ward, Tokyo, and his wife Shiho Hosoya. The two were arrested in February last year for murdering their second daughter, 4, by forcing her to ingest ethylene glycol.
