Suspect identified as Satoshi Kirishima, documents sent to prosecutors, Metropolitan Police Department DNA test results. Suspect was a member of the East Asia Anti-Japan Armed Front wanted for his involvement in a series of corporate bombings in the 1970s.

He was accused of being involved in the April 1975 bombing of the Korea Institute of Industrial Economics building in Ginza, Tokyo. When interviewed by investigators at the hospital, he denied any involvement in the incident for which he was wanted, but hinted that he was involved in another bombing incident.
