A Japan team evacuated through their own route from Darfur to Ethiopia. They were forced to evacuate due to the worsening situation in Darfur.
A Japan team member said they were close to the collapse of medical care. He said there is a shortage of medicines, and there is no way to compensate for it. He was in charge of about 3 people in three teams, but since the fighting intensified he has often taken refuge in basements to avoid gunfire. The team are still staying in Japan and continuing their activities.
