Spanish wine threatens to'move' to the south of England due to climate change. An increase in average temperature above 2 degrees would cause 90% of the vineyards in Spain, Italy, Greece and Southern California to cease to be viable.

Seven researchers from the universities of Bordeaux, Burgundy and Palermo, led by viticulture professor Cornelis van Leeuwen, have analyzed its future in a study just published by the magazine Nature. The researchers foresee two scenarios: one with a moderate increase in temperature, in which we are already immersed, and another that is warmer.
