Six people injured in attack in front of Istanbul courthouse. Police in Istanbul have killed two suspected attackers.
They are said to have previously injured several people - including police officers. They belonged to the left-wing extremist DHKP-C, which has already carried out attacks in Turkey in the past. In 2015, a prosecutor was killed in the courthouse after the DHKp-C took him hostage. A police helicopter circled above the building. Pictures showed people fleeing into the building in panic, while shots could be heard.
