Six months after releasing treated water, Agriculture Minister Sakamoto urges China to abolish regulations. Sakamoto emphasized the idea of working to diversify export destinations.

The 24th marks the 6th anniversary of the release of treated water from the Tokyo Electric Power Company's Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant into the ocean. China continues to impose a ban on imports of Japanese marine products due to its opposition, and there are no prospects for the ban to be abolished. The government will continue to work as one to abolish the regulations immediately.
