Six company executives and others arrested for stealing 35 million yen worth of LINE Pay points. Six people were re-arrested, including Motoki Minami (37), the representative of a consulting company in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo.

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, from 2020 to 2021, the cashless payment service "LINE Pay" was used to make 2,400 fictitious transactions totaling approximately 1.18 billion yen, and to defraud 35 million Yen worth of points. Upon investigation, both have admitted to the charges.
