[HIGHLIGHTS] Shanxi released the excavation data of Qin and Han tombs to promote the establishment of the archaeological and cultural genealogy of the Qin and Han in northern China

Houzhai Cemetery is located on the west bank of the Huanhe River west of Houzhai Village, Shuocheng District, Shuozhou City, Shanxi Province. Archaeologists cleaned up more than 5 tombs from the Eastern Zhou to Liaojin periods, including 400 Qin and Han tombs.

These tombs are important materials for studying the cultural landscape of the Western Han period in northern Jin. Unearthed relics include clay pots, clay pots,. pottery stoves, copper coins, lacquerware, copper mirrors, glass earbells, etc.
