Second round of the Kioh Tournament: Ito 7-dan challenges Fujii Hakkan using pieces from the disaster-stricken area. The pieces and board used this time were donated by Kazuhito Shioi (63) of Suzu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, who lost his wife Kimiko (64) in the Noto Peninsula earthquake.
The winner of the second game is expected to be decided on the afternoon of the 24th. The game uses pieces found in a house that collapsed in the quake.
