Search for ex-RAF terrorists - police operation in Berlin student dormitory. At night, special forces searched an apartment in Berlin-Friedrichshain.
Two people were found in the apartment and their identities were established. All three are attributed to the third generation of the former left-wing extremist terrorist organization Red Army Faction. The RAF was the epitome of terror and murder in Germany for decades. In 1998 it declared itself dissolved. The 65-year-old as well as Garweg and Staub went into hiding more than 30 years ago.
