Solar wind specialist Andrei Sadovsky spoke about the consequences of the largest solar flare in seven years. Sadovsky noted that the outbreak was large, but not super-large.

He said that if there is a coronal mass ejection, that is, an ejection of solar mass, from the Sun and, accordingly, reaches the Earth, then perhaps there will be some kind of cool magnetic storm. Nothing bad will happen, according to Sadovsky, but “you shouldn’t expect a super magnetic storm”
