Two motherless otter pups were found in Schleswig-Holstein. Harvey and Hazel – as they are called – now weigh around 900 grams.

Walker found the puppies alone on a path in Niebüll in the Nordfriesland district. “You will stay with us for a year,” said Katharina Erdmann from the wildlife and species conservation center in Klein Offenseth-Sparrieshoop. They are supposed to learn species-appropriate behavior so that they can be released back into the wild.
