In Saxony, the authorities recorded a total of 149 incidents with a right-wing extremist background in schools last year. In the pre-Corona year of 2019 there were 73 incidents, it said.
The values would also have been lower in 2020 (52), 2021 (91) and 2022 (48) "The recent increase in the number of cases is worrying, but can at least partly be attributed to increased awareness," says left-wing MP Kerstin Köditz.
