Sales of duty-free goods on Hainan’s outlying islands are booming during the Spring Festival. More than 1.2 billion yuan was collected in four days.

During the 2023 Spring Festival holiday, Haikou Customs supervised a total of 1.56 billion yuan. Just halfway through this year's Spring festival holiday, it had already reached nearly 80% of last year's entire holiday sales. The 12 outlying island duty- free shops in Hainsan also launched a variety of promotional activities.
