Archaeologists from Tyumen State University have established the age of a burial complex in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The burial complex functioned in the time interval from the second quarter of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century.

In 2016, the settlement of Num-hiba-sikheri VI was discovered on the territory of the Mameevsky archaeological microdistrict. During excavations in 2018, archaeologists found nine burial structures where northern Selkups were buried.
