Rescue efforts following an Israeli bombing targeted a house in Rafah, resulting in the death of 8 martyrs. Al Jazeera broadcast video clips of the efforts of volunteers removing the bodies of martyrs and trying to recover the wounded.
The video showed the great extent of the destruction that befell the house, as well as the attempts of volunteers to extinguish the fires with their hands and simple equipment they possess. It also showed their efforts to rescue survivors, children and the elderly from under the rubble of the destroyed building.
