Group of international creditors of René Benko's insolvent Signa Group have filed a complaint with the economic and corruption prosecutor's office in Vienna. It is about the whereabouts of 662 million euros that flowed from the subsidiary Signa Development.

The subsidiary had already carried out some "illegal transactions" before filing for bankruptcy on December 29th, according to the 22-page letter. In the complaint, the creditors argue that the group's structure may have been "deliberately opaque"
