In Dorsten, a police vehicle went off the road and crashed. Three occupants were injured in the accident, one of them seriously.
The cause of the accident is still unclear, it said. The car was on the way back from an operation when it came off a slight left-hand bend and crashed into a tree. Two police officers suffered minor injuries. The driver of the police vehicle was also injured and taken to hospital. The accident happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Dorsten. It is not known what caused the accident.
