Police assume psychological emergency: man attacks three guests in the restaurant with a samurai sword. Three men were injured, some critically, in an attack with a Japanese long sword in a bistro in Neu-Ulm.
The attack is said to have taken place "indiscriminately and for no apparent reason": A 28-year-old attacked three men in Bavaria with a katana sword, injuring some of them life-threateningly. Another guest, aged 56, who overpowered the attacker, escaped with a minor cut.
