Police called to school in Petershagen, near Berlin, at 7:15 a.m. A man with a knife and a gun was said to have entered the school.
An amok alarm had previously been triggered, police said. The incident is being investigated by the German Federal Police (Bundesamt für Staatssicherheit) (BfS) and the Berlin Police Department (BPD) The BfS has been asked to provide a statement on the incident to the Bundestag.
