Passenger defaults – Swiss plane returns to Newark. Instead of going to Zurich, around 200 passengers went back to the USA.
Shortly after the flight took off, a passenger became abusive towards the crew. The planned trip ended for him in police custody. The man was reportedly taken away by police when he landed in Newark. There were more than 200 passengers on board flight LX19. They were transferred to later machines. The airline confirmed on Monday that the pilot decided to return to Newark instead of flying to Zurich as planned.
