The festive atmosphere was absent at the Easter Mass celebrated by members of the Western Christian community in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. Celebrations were limited to religious rituals due to the Israeli war on Gaza.

Because of the measures imposed by the occupation authorities on members of this sect, especially from the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, they were not allowed to reach the Church.
