Al Jazeera obtained testimonies from wounded people who were receiving treatment at the Shifa Complex in Gaza City. Patients said they were transferred more than once from one place to another, and placed in inappropriate and unprepared places despite their injuries.
They also suffered from a lack of food and water, as well as epidemics and insects, which led to the martyrdom of many of them. The Israeli occupation army withdrew from the vicinity of Al-Shifa Medical Complex after an attack on the complex for two weeks.
