A cow from Erfurt was to make her way to the slaughterhouse on Monday. When loading into the trailer, "there was no stopping" – the cow jumped over a fence.
Police supported the search with a helicopter and two patrol cars. So far, however, there is "still no trace" of the cow lady, possibly in a nearby forest. The case is reminiscent of a cow Yvonne, who gained international fame in 2011 through her weeks-long escape. At that time, the animal had fled from a farm and repeatedly hidden in forests.
