A 24-year-old from Bielefeld wanted to visit his imprisoned brother in prison in North Rhine-Westphalia. He was arrested by the police at the Pont correctional facility near the Dutch border.
The young man behaved cooperatively and immediately began his prison sentence of several years. The man was sentenced to several years in prison for attempted murder and criminal damage to property. He is currently serving his sentence in a prison in the town of Wuppertal, near the German-Dutch border.
