Jan Böhmermann wanted to prohibit a beekeeper from using his picture for an advertising campaign. The beekeeper had previously been involuntarily featured on the satirist's show.
A civil judge ruled that the beekeeper and honey producer from Meißen was right across the board. The judgment is not final and an appeal to the Dresden Higher Regional Court is possible. The judge said that he had "unasked and mockingly exposed him to unfairness in front of an audience of millions"
