Nihon University's American football club was disbanded due to a series of drug scandals. The university has decided to postpone the launch of a new club next year, with the aim of starting the club after 2025.
The deadline to apply for new membership in the federation next year was February 29th, but according to people involved, the university will not apply next year and will postpone starting the new club, aiming for 2025 or later. The new sophomores and freshmen who were not involved in the incident will belong to the newly established Competitive Sports Center.
