Last year, a 24-year-old driver was accused of forcibly molesting a female junior high school student on the street in Sagamihara City under the guise of reporting for NHK. The driver who was arrested was Kazuma Takeda (24), who lives in Kanagawa Ward, Yokohama City.
Police are investigating whether there are any other similar incidents. NHK reporters and directors carry employee identification cards when reporting. If you feel suspicious, please check your staff ID or contact your local NHK office.
